Our congratulation go out to board member Heironeous. He became a dad to a new baby girl on March 1. Baby Elyse was born 8:26 pm. Dad reports she weighed in at a respectable 3.75 kg and is very healthy.
On Sunday, January 17 come to Quantum Frontier and play test a brand new Steve Jackson game. Halifax is the ONLY city in Canada to have a copy, and is one of very, very few cities in all of North America to have a copy!

“Nanuk is a game of hunting! In this game, we are Inuit up North, boasting about how many fish/deer/seal/etc we can capture in X number of days… We take turns uping the ante until somebody calls “DOOM” on our trip. You can choose to join the naysayers or the hunter’s teams. Then the hunters have to prove ourselves and either succeed or fail in their attempt to achieve the boast.”

The Gelatinous Dudes are pleased to announce another successful Holiday Raffle. This year’s draw rose close to $1,100 for Adsum House! Despite a bit of a late start, ticket sales were brisk with the majority of sales coming from our very own Gelatinous Dudes forum community. The draw was held on Friday, December 11 at Adsum’s Brunswick Street offices. The prizes consisted of a 120GB PlayStation 3 and a FutureShop giftcard. A special thanks to Flagstone Business Interiors for their generous donation. We’d also like to mention our gratitude to Monster Comic Lounge for their cooperation in selling raffle tickets.
A big thanks to the Weekend Harbourview Market http://www.harbourviewmarket.com/site/ for donating space for us on Sunday, November 15 to sell tickets to the Holiday Raffle. We had a strategic space right by the front doors, so everyone entering the market had to hear our pitch before getting away 
. Dudes Saunders, Zuran Alda, zak and bonelock took turns at the booth selling tickets. It was great chance to spread the word about Adsum House and the Dudes. Ticket sales have been good but there are still lots left. Why not pick up some today!
Board member, Mangler, attended the second annual Let it Roll board game tournament on November 7. The Gelatinous Dudes would like to offer congrats to his team the Zombie Defense League for coming in first place and to Kurt Arnold for hosting such a successful event in benefit of the IWK hospital. Mangler shares some of his thoughts on the tournament below….
