Music

Postby Zuran_Alda » Fri Jan 26, 2007 12:36 am

I thought it time we start enlightening each other with great music.

Here are my first contributions. Thanks, bananasam for pointing them out but I just felt a need to share.

Not sure if this should go under music or "comedy," but here it is, nonetheless.

Nuit, you speak Japanese, or at least read it?

The 12 Girl Band (instrumental) is really good, I've heard them before. The japanese artists are new to me.. Can't really navigate the site though.. Just random klickings; is there any samples on those sites? What kind of music, btw, since you claimed "best stuff" ... :P

I'm constantly studying japanese, I can recognize some characters to get somewhere, I was in a hurry to find link so I grabed the first ones that came up. My iPod has 60% japanese pop/rap/rock/indy on it, I find it much more experimental and often more musical then north american stuff.
I recently discovered 12 girls band, just about 4 months ago, it is very relaxing, very popular in Japan I hear. Faye Wong was on there too because in the late 90s early 00s she broke into a Japan, very nice voice.
I'm one of those Otakus that started with anime, but who doesn't stick to just anime as my only source of Japanese culture. Aucifer should be your first try, hell, send me a tell if you want to meet up and I'll make you a Jpop (also including other musical types) cd

I wish I was one of those Otakus, except I lack knowledge and talent :P .. Yeah, I'd be interested in a jpop cd, I've got lots of trance from their side of the pacific too... I'm planning to return to Taiwan for work...

I thought I would use this opportunity to pimp one of my favorite bands ... who happen to hail from Newfoundland.
