[5e] Drow in sunlight

Postby redwookiee » Sat May 14, 2016 11:14 am

I had a character idea of playing a Drow monk but understand their disadvantage in sunlight. I was just wondering if a DM would allow some way of negating this. As a DM would you allow the character to wear a pair of "sunglasses" (2 very dark gems as the lenses maybe) or some minor magic item maybe?

Just interested to see if this could be done.

GMs can work out anything they wish for their personal games. It depends on a GM. GMs are like flavours of the world, they all come with their own quirks. Personally, in my personal games, I don't allow Drow as a race for players, hence, the question would be moot.

Is it possible to work something out, sure, will all game masters do so, no.
